We Love Seeing Ya!
Christian radio, the vast majority of the time, is a one way ministry, where we are broadcasting the Good News and the Word into cars, homes, workplaces, and more. It’s our calling to do that. We put what we do out there with no expectation of being ministered to in return. But that said, I expect you know that anytime anyone “does ministry,” they are often the ones to be surprisingly blessed in return (short term missions trips are a great example of that). And our blessings at KJOL come in the form…of you!
Meeting, spending time with our listeners, and getting to know you has to be the number one way that our staff is energized and encouraged. When we get that phone call about how God is actively working in someone’s life through the programming at KJOL, or see that note in the mail with words of encouragement, it is one of our joys to share it with each other around the office.
And while we are unable to get out and about as much as we would like with such a small staff, we had a ball at the Sidewalk Prophets concert recently. We have also been looking forward to seeing some of you at the Steven Curtis Chapman Concert, which was on the 8th. At both concerts, not only were we able to get out the word about this radio ministry, but about God's Word broadcast on it! We had opportunity to pray with fellow Christians at both events, and interact with a portion of the Christian community in the Western Slope. We loved it!
God bless you and thanks so much for your encouragement!
