TobyMac releases “Life After Death”
TobyMac (Toby McKeehan of dcTalk) is releasing his first full-length album since 2018, called “Life After Death.”
"As most of you know, it's been a hard, hard road for me the last couple of years," McKeehan recalls. "I began writing this record right after losing my first-born son.” McKeehan’s son Truett died of an accidental drug overdose in 2019 at the age of 21. The album includes the tribute song “21 Years.”
It also includes “Help Is On The Way (Maybe Midnight)” and the new single “The Goodness” with Blessing Offor, who grew up in Nigeria and was a finalist on NBC’s The Voice in 2014.
New song from Point of Grace
Point of Grace has released their first new song in four years. It’s called “Rest In You” written by Cindy Morgan, Tony Wood, and Scott Krippayne. POG’s Leigh Cappillino says “Even in the chaos of the world around us… we can be assured God is in control. We may not always be able to see with our own eyes, but we can ‘rest” in His sovereignty.”
The song is included on a re-release of “Beautiful Name,” a collection of hymns and modern worship songs. It is finally available for digital download.
